Ben Mordecai was instrumental in the formation of Premieres in 2001.
Not only was he a major Broadway producer, general manager and
educator, but a champion and supporter of not-for-profit theaters
nationwide.  His commitment to artistic values, to plays of serious
social statement and to new voices in the theater will never be forgotten.
